Family Under Construction

I've wanted to start blogging for awhile, as an outlet, as a way to write it all down and make sense of it all, and if for no other reason than to have a way to chronicle the days with my children. Honestly I don't have a clue what I am doing...


I have two boys, Dylan (3 1/2) and Dawson (1 1/2), a dog, and an "unhusband" Bruce. I am a stay-at-home-Mom, and most days I am really proud that I made that choice, happy that I get to experience my kids all day, everyday. Everyday around here brings with it new challenges, new ideas and more love.






We have been renovating our house since the day we moved in over 4 years ago, through 2 pregnancies and now with 2 children. Our lives always seem to be "under construction", not just our house. Everyday we learn things about ourselves, and just like in the renovations we see things we could have done better, things that would make our lives a little easier, a littler simpler. I suppose I chose the name for this blog because we live in a house that is in a constant state of construction, but also because I think most families are too. At least I know mine is...
